The world’s smallest chef turns your plate into a projected grill. Bon appétit! Check out this creative projection mapping project. The artists created a 3d animated chef who is cooking your food over your plate while attempting to ward off attacker flies. This is a fun and unique way to present food and drink to consumers in a restaurant environment. On the technical side, this looks like a home-brewed setup, executed very well. There appears to be a projector and media server mounted over the ceiling projecting downward onto the face of the table, which has mapped the circumference and masked out the edge bleed. Very fun and inspiring!
