Kiosk Mode: How to use Chrome without Address Bar in MAC

Oddly enough I find myself from time to time scratching my head at features that seem to be looked over by technology manufacturers like Apple. There are a lot of reasons why an individual may want to remove or temporarily hide their address bar in a web browser.

This is possible using the in-browser options which are commonly available on a PC. However, on a Macintosh, this appears to be a bit more difficult. I’ve found a cool little way to make this possible using the Terminal.

Basically all you have to do is go to Terminal and type in the following:

/Applications/Google\ Chrome.app/Contents/MacOS/Google\ Chrome --app=http://google.com

Once you go this press enter and it should pop-up your browser without your address bar. I hope that you find this option useful in your projects.
